Below is a visualization of the history of the Trans Mountain Pipeline. Built in 1953, it continues to connect the Alberta oil sands to British Columbia and provides approximately 90% of the fuel used in BC.

    The way some people talk about this is that there is no oversight or regulation. Looks good, keep up the good work. We need to be able to sell our product to the world.

    What year did the Safety Zone come into being? We now know that the Pipeline Safety Act came into official being June 19 2016 and the Damage Prevention rules also became official at that time. Land owners hosting the pipeline still have not been notified by the NEB or Trans Mountain as of this posting.
